[Mar 2022] Discord Monthly Update
Can you believe that we’ve opened our server for two years now? We’re more than 5,000 members strong and you’ve helped build a welcoming, positive, and inclusive community—and that’s definitely worth celebrating. We’ve got a lot in store this month, so we’ll keep this as short and sweet as possible.

TGH Birthday Bash
We’re throwing a big TGH Birthday Bash and we’ve got an invite with YOUR name on it! Come join us in celebrating our Discord turning 2 (can you believe it’s only been two years since we launched?) We’ve got three different activities planned for this bonanza:
TGH Birthday Giveaways (March 21 - 24)
Starting March 21, you can submit your entries to win one of three prizes: a TGH hat, a TGH hoodie, and a 12-month Nintendo Online Subscription! Entries for the giveaway will close on March 23, 2022 at 11:59pm (ET).
Eligibility: Community members who join the server before March 21.
How to enter: There will be three different questions to answer for each prize, please clearly state the corresponding question number of the prize that you want to submit your entry for. Each answer counts as one entry and every member is only allowed one entry each.
How we pick the winners: At the end of our TGH Birthday Bash event on March 24, we’ll do a live picking of the winners. The order of the live picking will start from the TGH hat, the TGH hoodie, and the 12-month Nintendo Online Subscription.
Please note: Each member can only win one prize. For example, if you win the TGH hat, you will no longer be eligible to win the TGH hoodie or Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
TGH Birthday Bash (March 24)
Come join the Mod Squad for a big ol’ gaming session together! We’ll release more information about what games we’ll be playing closer to the date, but we will definitely be ending the bash with a live picking of our TGH Birthday Giveaway winners! Consider this as your personal invitation, and we would love to see you there.
TGH Birthday Bash Book (March 21 - 24)
We want to remember this special occasion with a collective memento where you can leave your mark. So, take part in our TGH Birthday Bash Book! Submit your favourite memory in our server (or any sort of message you want) and we’ll create a little “yearbook” for everyone to view. You can also include your best TGH selfie if you’d like 😉
Quarterly Standout Giveaway
A reminder that our quarterly Standout giveaway will be picked on March 31, 2022. Members who have the Standout role are all eligible to enter to win a $10 gift card to the gaming store of choice, and the live picking will be done offline and recorded through a video.
Launch of TGHC Discord
In case you missed it, we launched the TGH Collegiate (TGHC) Discord on February 21! TGHC provides a safe, inclusive space for collegiate women and femme identifying humans who game and/or have a desire to work in the gaming industry. Our Collegiate Program will also provide connections and opportunities to those interested in pursuing careers in the gaming industry and access to exclusive offerings. Whether you’re a student, recent graduate, college staff, or someone in the industry who wants to give back, this server is for you.
