cheridan agnew

collegiate coordinator

Cheridan is currently an International Business major at Lasell University in Massachusetts. She is creating an Esports program at her university, and is one of the founding members. She is very excited to be a part of the*gameHERs family, and is looking forward to creating new opportunities for women in gaming as well as making this community a more open environment. When she is not at school, you can find her back in California, usually at a convention or hanging out with her dog. In her free time she loves to play games such as League of Legends, Zelda BOTW, Animal Crossing, along with many others. She is a very creative person and is eager to take on the world.

 

victoria Kosuda, CPA

Chief financial officer

Vicki is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of Finance experience in companies of all sizes, from startup to Fortune 500. Vicki began her career with Ernst & Young, LLP as an auditor, but spent much of her career in the Financial Planning and Analysis department of large corporations. Over the past 10 years, Vicki has focused on the financial needs of small businesses and startups, most of which have been run by women visionaries. Vicki handles all things Finance for the*gameHERs.


YALI PEREZ

SOCIAL MEDIA specialist

Yali is an entertainment journalist! She works as a Senior Contributor for Funimation. She writes the popular “ A Mom’s Guide to Anime,” column. She’s also the content curator for Fandom Spotlite. She’s dedicated her life to pop culture and fandom by viewing it through an untraditional lense. Whether it is parenting advice, dating advice, or learning to be your authentic self; there is a fandom for that.

 
 

Quan Nguyen

Marketing Coordinator

Born and raised in Vietnam, Quan is now based in New York. After graduating with a B.A in New Media and Digital Design, she’s exploring her potential in career and personal growth. Quan is a proactive, diligent digital marketer with experience in influencer marketing, social media, and content development. She loves work that allows her to tap all her interests across education, pop culture, and DEI. She also prides herself on personal projects and volunteer experiences that give back to the community, embrace diversity, and nurture her Vietnamese heritage. In her free time, she can be found crocheting and thinking about her next travel destination.

Special Projects/Collegiate Coordinator

Colleen is finishing a Masters in Brand & Media Strategy and has a graduate certificate in Esports Management. As a military brat, she's "not really from anywhere in particular", but spent the longest time living in Hawaii! Colleen has been in love with esports and content creation ever since she was a kid. She's one of the few people with a Twitch Gameplan Advertising Certificate and prides herself in knowing a little bit about every space when it comes to Twitch and YouTube. Colleen is incredibly passionate about opening this space for women and femme-identifying individuals. She's an active advocate for diversity and inclusion in gaming and is always looking for ways to make the gaming community more welcoming and accessible.

Melissa was born and raised in Chicago to a Mexican mother and Jordanian father. An avid gamer ever since she had Spyro on the original PlayStation. In her free time, she also enjoys streaming, watching anime, sending memes, and drawing.

 

Miso Hai

App Support Manager

As a life long indigenous model and weeb, ‘Miso’ (she/her/fae) loves the beach, spending time with faer loved ones and quantum creative solutions. As an aestheticist, she also enjoys visual and vocal arts, networking and luxury.

 
 

Leonie leonard

partnerships/sales manager

Leonie leads the partnerships team at the*gameHERs. She is an expert at building meaningful relationships with other organizations/brands and exploring creative ways to shape partnerships that are valuable for all.

Leonie is based in NYC after moving to the US from Ireland in 2011. She holds a Masters degree in Disability Studies and has always been passionate about creating opportunities for groups of like-minded people.

 

bethany pyles

collegiate coordinator

Bethany Pyles (she/her) (ign: indyburgh) lives in Los Angeles, CA and holds a B.A in anthropology. Bethany is the Head of Coaching for Cloud9's Training Grounds, the Collegiate Coordinator for the*GameHERs and the Director of Coaching for the North America Scholastic Esports Federation. Last Summer, Bethany also co-developed and facilitated the Esports Teacher Academy with Microsoft using Minecraft Education Edition. Bethany is an avid gamer and competes casually in Overwatch, Apex Legends and Call of Duty. She has a passion for play and learning that stems from personal experiences and a rich mentorship from notable researchers and professors at the University of California Irvine and Connected Camps.

Partnerships Coordinator

Alex is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a passion for building lasting relationships and creating memorable experiences. He holds a Masters degree in sport management and when he's not spending time connecting with brands or researching market trends, he can be found writing daily fantasy sports content, watching/playing sports or searching for his next travel destination.

jennifer dolinka

chief of staff

Jennifer's 25+ years of corporate operational experience, leading programs and teams around the globe, along with her DEI background and M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, all come together to help amplify the*gameHERs mission. As Chief of Staff, she loves being an operational "Jill of All Trades" - from sales support to project management, creating organizational efficiencies and managing strategic priorities, to relationship-building, editing, and website updates ("Variety is the spice of life!"). Jennifer is also a Certified Hypnotist who loves to help others find new perspectives, boost confidence, reduce anxiety, release fears or habits, increase sports performance, or meet any kind of self-improvement goals.

Sam is a current Publishing student at Emerson College with a focus in Esports Communication. On top of running an Esports organization at her college, she participates in multiple teams and helps to run the social media platforms for the*gameHERs. If she's not practicing or prepping for events, she is editing articles for Player One Magazine or figuring out what the next big trend in gaming will be. They love being able to uplift and work with so many incredible people on the team and community.


Rebecca longawa

COLLEGIATE & ESPORTS STRATEGY

With over 20 years of experience in sports marketing and innovation, Rebecca Longawa is a master connector and networker. Highly regarded as a maven in the esports industry, she is the founder of the esports consultancy firm, Happy Warrior. Her client work includes helping pro esports teams monetize their organizations through brand partnerships and growth strategies and working with creative and media agencies to bring their brand accounts into the esports ecosystem with authenticity and credibility.  Additionally, Rebecca is an Advisor and Mentor for three global esports-technology VC firms and an Advisory Board Member for a number of sports-technology and esports startups. She is the creator and host of “The Future of Marketing in Esports” podcast on The Futuri Network and is a moderator in multiple Clubhouse rooms covering Esports101, Esports Marketing and Health & Wellness in Esports.


ILIANA PILYOVA

MultiMedia Design & Content Specialist

liana is a passionate and proficient Video Editor with several years of experience in Graphic Design and Social Media. Originally from Bulgaria, she graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Games Enterprise in the United Kingdom. Iliana was also a League of Legends Content Creator for 5 years. Although she enjoys playing every genre, she loves old school games and favorite genres are RPGS, MOBA and Adventure. Her all time favorite game is Tomb Raider. Iliana is also a gym rat and has a cute grey bunny named Sisko.
