Are you a hardcore gamer who wants to learn how to make the thing you love most part of your work? Maybe you’re a recent grad or college student who is thinking about possibilities for the future. Perhaps you’re an entrepreneur starting a new business, or someone whose been in the workforce a while and wants to pivot to a field that brings you more joy. Or maybe the pandemic changed your employment circumstances, and you’re in the market for something new.

In the tech and gaming industries, things move fast, and in the year since COVID-19 changed the world as we know it, the ways we all work have shifted and changed tenfold. You may be thinking “I’d love to work in gaming, but how would I even get started?”

The*gameHERs Professional Bootcamp, sponsored by Evil Geniuses and supported by IDGA, is a perfect place to begin to answer that question. If you’re craving an old-school mixer, there’s a Games Industry Gathering event for networking galore. And it’s all FREE and virtual, so you can pick and choose the events you attend and show up from the safety (and coziness) of your own couch, gaming chair, or office chair!
